No Intro Needed – Jimmy Fallon Debuts As New Host Of The Tonight Show

Ushering in a new era for The Tonight Show franchise, Jimmy Fallon debuted as the 6th host of the historic late night talk show last night. With help from scheduled guests Will Smith and U2 as well as star-studded surprise guests including Mike Tyson, Kim Kardashian, Robert De Niro, Steven Colbert, Lady Gaga and many others, the show captured an emotional yet loveable host audiences have grown accustom to since Late Night.

One of my favorite moments of the first show was towards the end when Jimmy put U2 on the spot. After performing “Invisible” at Top of the Rock earlier in the show, Jimmy had the band perform their Oscar nominated song “Ordinary Love” with his own instruments.
