LISTEN: As Was “La Familiar 32oz”

Bringing a unique atmospheric vibe to the Alternative world, Los Angeles-based artist As Was comes through with “La Familiar 32oz”. The raw and soulful track certainly falls into the Alternative genre but vocally and lyrically there’s an energy that borders around Hip Hop, making this a very interesting listen. It reminds me of Mackelmore and the chances the duo took to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. As Was takes a chance and the outcome is something different and well worth the listen.
